How Holder Pads Help Holder pads are commonly used in many industrial applications, because they help expedite the deburring, blending, cleaning and finishing processes by making disc and tool attachment swift and easy. Rather than being required to use special tools to manipulate the fastening of the disc to the tool, users can simply use a holder pad. Holder pads are especially useful when there are many discs in a sequence, taking the sweat and fuss out of swapping discs. Small tufts of fiber are pulled through scrim on the abrasive to create loops which, subsequently, attach to the hooks.
